Amazon rocks!!

Love the new Amazon shipping deal – you send them your stuff and they take care of sending it out, while you manage your storefront.  In a truly ironic twist – I can actually get decent money for some of my textbooks and even some of my way ancient curriculum stuff.

It is so strange, though, looking out over the back porch while watering the tomatoes and realizing that this time next year, the surroundings will be totally different.  Don’t get me wrong – I do feel that we have been called, and am really looking forward to the Germany missionary experience…but there’s still these little moments of ‘what am I getting myself into again and just why??’

If this had been five years ago, there’s be a lot more second-thoughting here.  But between Skype, Facebook, Hulutv, Netfilx, it ought to work.  It is so cool to think that even halfway around the world, I’ll be able to  keep up with St. Gabriel’s thanks to emailed weekly bulletins.

Have Fun with God

Then I decided to spend my time having fun because I felt that there was nothing better in all the earth than that a man should eat, drink, and be merry, with the hope that this happiness would stick with him in all the hard work that God gives to mankind everywhere.
