A new beginning

We are embarking on a whole new world.  My (wonderful) husband has felt for a long time that he was called to do something to help revitalize the Catholic religion in Europe, especially Germany.  Lo and behold, a mission outpost of Lifeteen (Catholic youth organization) could use some help with their German mission.  We went up to a place called Covecrest to talk, pray, and reflect on whether we as  a family were called upon to do this.

Turns out that we have been called.  This decision is one of the ‘rightest’ feeling decisions I’ve ever made.  Along with one of the most scary.  I mean…selling almost everything?…living in community?…leaving the U.S.??  But I have absolutely no intention of behaving like Jonah and arguing with God.

Have Fun with God

Then I decided to spend my time having fun because I felt that there was nothing better in all the earth than that a man should eat, drink, and be merry, with the hope that this happiness would stick with him in all the hard work that God gives to mankind everywhere.
